Stand construction and logistics at Messe Frankfurt

On a site with ten halls and roughly 400,000 square metres of event space, build-up day is a logistics job. Goods receiving is not next to your stand, the walk from hall 3 to hall 11 is long, and delivery slots are tightly scheduled. If nobody is there to carry, your freight sits in the aisle.

What we provide – and what we do not

We provide helpers who carry, unpack, push, stack and clear – not stand builders. Our people work to the instructions of your contractor or your own team. Your builder constructs and assembles the stand itself; electrics and rigging stay with the specialists.

That is usually where the gap is: not the skilled trade, but the second and third pair of hands. Our staff bring safety shoes and gloves and are instructed in workplace safety.

Everything is planned through one named contact who sets the shifts. You are invoiced for the hours actually worked – if build-up goes faster than expected, you pay less.

Frequently asked questions

How many helpers do I need for build-up?

For a row stand up to 30 square metres, two helpers and one build-up day are usually enough. From 100 square metres, or for two-storey stands, we plan four to eight people across two shifts. Tell us stand size, construction type and hall.

Do your crews work at night and at weekends?

Yes. At Messe Frankfurt build-up almost always falls outside normal working hours, so we plan night shifts in. Supplements are stated in the quote beforehand.

May your helpers drive forklifts?

Pallet trucks, yes. Forklifts and lifting platforms need a valid licence and not every helper has one, so we need notice. Please say so when you enquire, not on the build-up day – otherwise we cannot promise it.

Do you handle goods receiving and hall storage?

Yes. Registering deliveries, unpacking, interim storage, restocking during the show and packing at dismantling are all part of it.

How late can dismantling be arranged?

If we know by midday we will try for a crew the same evening. We cannot guarantee it, but we will tell you straight away whether it works.

Request staff

Date, headcount and task are enough. You get an answer the same working day, usually within a few hours.

Your contacts in sales

You do not get a ticket number. You get two people who know your booking and pick up the phone themselves if something comes up.
