Stand construction and logistics in Berlin

27 halls across roughly 550,000 square metres, plus the CityCube and Hub27: the Berlin exhibition grounds grew over time rather than being drawn on a single sheet. For build-up that means short distances, but also narrow access routes and halls with very different ceiling heights. If you are planning a two-storey stand, check your hall's height first.

What we provide – and what we do not

We provide helpers who carry, unpack, move, seat and load – not stand builders. Our people work to the instructions of your contractor. Your builder constructs the stand itself; electrics and rigging stay with the specialists.

Night shifts and weekend work are possible, because build-up windows in Berlin often leave no other option. Supplements are stated in the quote beforehand, not on the invoice afterwards.

You get one named contact who plans the shifts. You are invoiced for the hours actually worked.

Frequently asked questions

How many helpers do I need for build-up?

Up to 30 square metres, usually two helpers and one build-up day. From 100 square metres, or for two-storey stands, four to eight people across two shifts. In the older Berlin halls it pays to check the ceiling height before planning.

Do your crews work at night and at weekends?

Yes. Build-up windows at InnoTrans and IFA leave no other option, so we plan night shifts in. Supplements are stated in the quote beforehand.

May your helpers drive forklifts?

Pallet trucks, yes. Forklifts and lifting platforms need a valid licence and not every helper has one, so we need notice.

Do you handle goods receiving and hall storage?

Yes. Goods receiving at Messedamm, unpacking, transport, interim storage, restocking during the show and packing at dismantling are all part of it.

How late can dismantling be arranged?

If we know by midday we will try for a crew the same evening. We cannot guarantee it, but we will tell you straight away whether it works.

Request staff

Date, headcount and task are enough. You get an answer the same working day, usually within a few hours.

Your contacts in sales

You do not get a ticket number. You get two people who know your booking and pick up the phone themselves if something comes up.
